What is stored
- The name you type when joining a club. Pick anything; it is not checked and does not have to be your real one. It is shown to the other members of that club.
- What you do in a club: the film you proposed, which films you approved, and the verdict you left. Approvals stay hidden from everyone until the vote closes, and are never shown per person afterwards, only as a count.
- A session cookie per club so you stay signed in on this browser. It holds a random token, nothing about you.
- The country you pick for streaming availability stays in your browser and is sent with the lookup, never stored with your name.
No account, no password, no email address, no tracking or analytics, no advertising.
Server logs
The web server keeps the usual request log, including IP address, for a short time to troubleshoot and to stop abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interest in operating the service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Film data
Film information, posters and streaming availability come from TMDB (availability data by JustWatch). Those requests are made by this server, not by your browser, so TMDB does not see you. Posters are loaded from TMDB's image servers, which does mean your browser contacts them.
How long
Club data stays as long as the club exists. Ask by email and a club, or your entries in it, will be deleted. Sessions expire after 180 days.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and you can object to processing (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). Email the address above. You can also complain to a supervisory authority.
